Branding & Print design for an international arts festival

Chalk It Up is an international pavement art festival held in the railway town of Crewe. As a participative festival showcasing a unique and exciting medium, we ensured that the branding felt inclusive, handmade and crafted in its identity, whilst still holding the authority of an international competition.

Working with Cheshire East Council, we played with an array of creative concepts, always pushing what was expected to land upon this bright and vibrant end result.

We were thrilled with the work Off Grid did on our Chalk It Up campaign.Right from the offset, they gave a clear, confident and competitive quote in comparison to other companies. They completely understood that we wanted branding which conveyed the tactile and participatory nature of the Festival, as well as the necessity for something with longevity.

We were over the moon with what they delivered, and we know that it absolutely stands up on the international level needed for our brand. Not only that, but they
were always prompt when responding to queries, happy to make tweaks (even at the last minute), had a calm and friendly demeanour and worked to tight timescales. We would not hesitate to recommend them or work with them again.
