Maydencroft is a well established and reputable business in the land management and environmental sector. The quality of their offering, and the care and responsibility that they take to the stewardship of managing landscape for our future generations is second to none - yet they felt they were being a little left behind in the digital landscape. A somewhat outdated and clunky website wasn’t doing them justice. 

We worked with the Maydencroft team to refresh their brand, updating their palettes and colour use, as well as introducing some modern and simple fonts to their repertoire. 

We also conducted an extensive website review, when and why users were leaving their website, or getting lost, or not converting; resulting in a clear output list for us to base the website on, with a list of recommendations and actions. 

Working in tandem with the copywriter, we set about restructuring the website through wireframing and site maps, introducing clear calls to action and offering quick and simple ways to navigate to the information required. 

We based the design around the need for quality video content. The people that work at Maydencroft and the skills they offer were a key part of the business and this needed to be highlighted. 

Applying the updated branding, we designed a new bespoke website which armed Maydencroft for the future. We created bespoke icons to signpost the user, as well as introducing multiple journeys to access their services depending on the user type. The final output felt clean, traditional, simple and inspiring, and since launching the traffic on the website has increased greatly, with a notable increase in job applications through the newly created careers section.
